Koshō · Japanese Sumi-e Pine Wall Art | Zen Hanging Scroll Poster with Wood Hangers
孤松 · Koshō, The Solitary Pine
Product Story
On a mist-wrapped crag, a single pine holds its ground. In Japanese tradition the pine (matsu, 松) is the emblem of endurance and long life, the tree that stays green through winter, bending but never breaking. "Koshō" captures that quiet strength in flowing sumi-e ink: confident brushwork, soft grey mountains dissolving into mist, and a vast breath of empty space (ma) that lets the eye rest. Finished with the MINDŌ hanko seal in vermilion red. A piece for anyone who finds calm in stillness.
The Format: Kakemono Hanging Scroll
Inspired by the traditional Japanese hanging scroll, the artwork is held by four minimalist magnetic wood hangers, two at the top and two at the base, for a warm, vintage gallery feel. The magnets grip the poster without damaging it, so re-hanging or swapping art is effortless.
